Don’t know what to do with all those plastic bags that you get from the store? Why not make a crochet grocery bag holder to keep them all in! This is a great way to reuse them and keep them organized while doing so!

A couple years ago I had designed another Plastic Bag Holder that turned out great and everyone seemed to love it! I decided to design another style of one for my camper that I recently bought. I chose to use a sage green yarn for this one as most of the decor in my camper is light green / sage color.
This bag holder will stay in my camper and keep all my plastic grocery bags organized

For this bag holder I use a couple fun stitches like the ‘Alpine’ stitch and the ‘Waistcoat’ stitch. These stitches really helped to give this piece its texture and the stitches look great when worked up in a solid colored yarn.

I chose to use a 100% cotton yarn for this crochet project as a cotton yarn will tend to stretch less than acrylic yarn. I’d recommend using a cotton yarn instead of acrylic but you could substitute for acrylic yarn if that is all you have on hand just be aware of the fact that it may stretch more than cotton will.
