30 Quick & Easy Crochet Baby Ideas: Free Patterns

Baby items are some of my favorite things to crochet.  I have gathered up 30 quick & easy baby crochet ideas in this blog post that I’m sure you will enjoy!

I included a lot of different kinds of baby crochet patterns in this round up from traditional baby blankets to bibs and diaper covers.  A lot of these patterns would make for wonderful crochet baby shower gift ideas and would make for such thoughtful gifts.

Aren’t these little baby booties adorable?!  Of course, we have to start this round up with the classic crochet baby booties.  This pattern includes a sizing chart so you can make different sizes of crochet booties to fit you baby at different ages.

2. Ribbed Baby Hats in 5 Sizes

This crochet baby hat pattern has 5 different sizes from preemie all the way to 12 months.  When I first released this pattern, a lot of people said that they were going to be making these little hats and donating them to hospitals which is a wonderful idea.

3. Charming Baby Blanket

This pretty baby blanket uses a pretty stitch that makes a blanket that virtually has no holes.  I love this blanket made in a solid color and would love to see it made in different colors.

4. Unicorn Baby Lovey

I love the bright colors in this baby lovey!  You could also make this baby lovey with different colors or even more pastel colors and that would be cute too.

5. Baby Socks

This pattern is for the size 0-3 months.  The ribbed cuff helps to keep the socks on your babies feet without slipping off as easily.

6. Baby Bear Hats

This pattern has 5 different sizes that range from preemie to 12 months.  You could also easily leave off the bear ears and just have a basic little beanie.

7. Shell Border Baby Blanket

This blanket uses one of my favorite yarns, Lion Brand Mandala Ombre.  It’s such a pretty blanket but so easy to crochet.  If you can chain stitch, single crochet and do the double crochet stitch then you can easily crochet this baby blanket.

8. Daisy Jacket

I don’t know if it gets much cuter than this adorable little daisy jacket.  The great thing about making baby sized wearables is that they don’t take very long to make as they are so small.

Instead of a crochet baby blanket as a baby shower gift, why not switch it up a little and crochet a cute little sweater!  I think sweaters would make for adorable baby gifts!
