I’m on a baby lovey making roll! After making designing my Unicorn Baby Lovey for Clover USA’s blog, I then started making more baby loveys! Including this adorable Dino Baby Lovey Pattern, isn’t it cute?!

I Love using Cake Yarns and when I saw this one with it’s bright colors of blue and green, it was just begging to be made into a Dino Baby Lovey.

I actually used 1 Yarn Bee Sugarwheel and then some I Love This Yarn for the Dino part, because the stitch that I used for the lovey is a little more of a yarn eater and I wanted to have a good sized lovey. But, the stitch definition is totally worth the extra yarn.

Border –

For the border, I used the Crab stitch border, which is also known as the Reverse Single Crochet.

Chain 1, and evenly work a reverse single crochet all the way around the edge, slip stitch into the beginning.

Cut yarn and weave in all ends.

To attach the dino, I sew the arms on first and leave about a 1” gap between the arms.

Then, I sew on the head.

Cut yarn and weave in all ends.
