Who wants to crochet a cute watermelon plushie? This easy watermelon crochet pattern literally takes just a few minutes to work up and is so cute!
Details About This Watermelon Crochet Pattern
I used the ever so popular Premier Parfait Chunky yarn. This yarn has become very popular the past couple of years for making all kinds of plushies and amigurumi patterns.
I used the colors Poppy, Key Lime and White for this plushie and it turned out so cute! I paired this yarn with a J or 6mm crochet hook and it works up great!
I also used some cute little safety eyes that I bought off of Amazon.
This is a really easy crochet project that really does not take much time at all to work up. This pattern would be great for making and selling at craft markets!
You could even take some black yarn and embroider some seeds on this plushie very easily, if you wanted too. But, I think that it is cute even without seeds.
Are Plushies Hard to Crochet?
Plushies or amigurumi are not hard to crochet, they just take practice. Sometimes getting them to take the correct shape can be a little difficult in the beginning if you are not used to making amigurumi.
This is a very beginner friendly crochet pattern and I feel that even a beginner could easily make this once you have learned your basic crochet stitches like chain stitches and single crochet stitches.
