My Everyday Shawl Crochet Pattern has an arrangement of different stitches that really make this shawl stand out! From the Moss Stitch to the Bobble Stitch, this shawl has it all.

I love the shape of a basic triangle shawl over rectangular shawls. That’s probably why all the shawls that I have designed have been triangular. I really need to design some rectangle shawls to add to my pattern library I guess.

I just love how the few rows of bobble stitches add so much texture to this shawl! I think that the Bobbles really make this shawl pop!

About the Yarn I used

I chose to use Brava Tweed yarn in the color Goldenrod from We Crochet. I absolutely love this mustard color with all the flecks of tweed throughout the yarn. We Crochet’s website explains the color like, ”Goldenrod is a rich, warm, mustard yellow with brown undertones and has coffee, white, and black flecks of Tweed.”

It’s a blend of 97% Premium Acrylic and 3% Viscose. For an acrylic yarn, it works up beautifully and holds up really well!

You can see the detail of all the stitches really well with this yarn!

We Crochet has 5 other colors in their Brava Tweed line and I would love to see this Everyday Shawl worked up in some of them! If you make one in a different color, be sure to tag me @okiegirlblingnthings on social media so I can see!

  1. Thank you for the shawl pattern. I look forward to making it for myself after I finish the 3 afghans I am making for my girls for next Christmas. I too live in Oklahoma so its nice to see someone else in Oklahoma who loves crocheting as much as I do, especially someone so young since my girls are always jokingly telling me that crocheting is for old ladies like you mom. Lol. Keep up the good work and happy crocheting!
