Crocheting your own face scrubbies has never been easier than with this scrubby pattern!  They are easy, quick, reusable and eco-friendly!  This Face scrubbie crochet pattern is even complete with a video tutorial to help you make the perfect scrubbies.

These face scrubbies are such a fun project that you will have a whole stack of face scrubbies worked up and completed in no time at all.  They are only 4 rounds to make the whole scrubbie, so talk about a super fast project!

Eco Friendly and Reusable

One of the best things about these crochet scrubbies is that they are reusable.  No more need for using all those cotton balls or cotton facial rounds with these reusable scrubbies.

Use them to wash off your makeup and then toss them into the washing machine (inside a mesh laundry bag preferably) and they will be as good as new.

What Yarn Works Best for Face Scrubbies?

100% Cotton is definitely best yarn for making these crochet scrubbies.  It’s very durable and gentle on your skin.  I also recommend using a worsted weight cotton yarn for this project.

I’d definitely say that you would not want to use acrylic yarn for this pattern as it doesn’t absorb yarn very well and isn’t best suited for this type of project.

Here are some my favorite cotton yarns that would work great for this pattern

I picked out some fun and bright colors of cotton yarn to use, of course!  Solid colors show how pretty the stitch definition is and really make it pop. I also made a couple of them in a fun multi color yarn too!

I chose to use Dishie in the colors Azure, Begonia, Bumblebee, Friendship Bracelet Multi and Summer Jams Multi.

One of the best things about these reusable face scrubbies is that they don’t take very much yarn and are a great stash busting project!  They take such a small amount of cotton yarn that you can easily use your leftover yarn for this quick crochet project.

A full, single skein of cotton yarn will make a whole bunch of scrubbies!

Great Gift Idea!

These cotton crochet face scrubbies make for the perfect gift especially when paired with some fancy, special soaps and even make for the perfect addition to go into gift sets.  They can easily fit into anyones skincare routine.

They would also make for a great addition to anyone doing craft markets.  They are something that you could literally make while sitting at your booth.

Puff Stitch

To make these face scrubbies, I used a special stitch called the ‘Puff Stitch’. If you have never crocheted the puff stitch, don’t worry! I have a complete in depth tutorial along with a video HERE!

I also made a video tutorial for this specific face scrubby crochet pattern too! Scroll on down to see it.
