Whether you enjoy pumpkin spice coffee or some hot tea in the mornings, make your drink more fun with this cute Pumpkin Mug Cozy! This is a super quick crochet project that you can have whipped up in no time!

A few years back (7 to be exact) I designed my pumpkin patch cup cozy that slides on to go style cups and everyone has loved that crochet pattern over the past few years. Here is what it looked like!

I decided that it was time to make one very similar to go on a coffee mug and this was the end result. Don’t ask me why it took me so long to make the matching mug cozy, but I’m glad that I finally did!
One of my favorite things about this crochet mug cozy is that you don’t need buttons or anything to secure the cozy to your mug, I simply made little straps out of chain stitches and it holds the cozy in place perfectly!

Can I make this to fit different sizes of mugs?
Yes, you can easily adjust this pattern to fit a larger size of mug. I designed this cozy to fit a standard 11oz coffee mug.
To make the cozy larger, you can increase the starting number of chain stitches. Just make sure to start with an even number of chain stitches.
