If you love all things pumpkin, then you will definitely want to check out my Pumpkin Patch Cup Cozy pattern! It’s the perfect cozy to use while enjoying a pumpkin spice coffee or any other hot beverage of your choice this fall!
These cute crochet Pumpkin coasters would look great even made in different colors! I’ve seen people decorate with all colors of pumpkins in the past few years. Besides for orange, one of the most popular pumpkin colors I’ve seen has been white!
What Yarn Works Best for Crochet Coasters?
100% Cotton yarn is best for making coasters! It’s because Cotton absorbs moisture and other yarns like acrylic yarn doesn’t. So, if you set a cup on a cotton coaster and the cup sweats, the cotton yarn will absorb the yarn whereas the water would just bead off of an acrylic coaster.
These would even make for a cute pumpkin motif if you used a smaller hook and lighter weight yarn. You could experiment with different yarn weights to make different sizes of pumpkins.
If you know your basic crochet stitches like single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, then you can make this easy crochet coaster pattern.
These Crocheted Pumpkin Coasters would even make for a cute gift. Especially for a fall home warming present! Pair these coasters with maybe a cute mug or two and some coffee, how cute would that be?!
