This is a wonderful and quick one skein project! That’s right, I said ONE skein. With only a single skein of yarn I got all these beautiful colors and made the sweet little teddy bear.
I used a Yarn Bee Sugarwheel in the color whipped mocha. I pulled from the center and made the bear head and arms first, then the lovey.
This was what my sugarwheel looked like
I had this certain skein of yarn for awhile not know what to make with it, but this was perfect! I think it worked out great.
I know that the whole purpose of self-striping yarns are to let the colors change and stripe themselves, but I didn’t want the next color to start in the middle of a row, so I cut the yarn and started new rows with the next color when needed. Yes, that may kinda defeat the purpose, but I still only needed 1 skein of yarn to make this whole lovey, win win!
My finished lovey measures approx. 19’’ x 19’’

Happy crocheting y’all!
I like the pattern for the bear. The blanket doesn’t tell , when to do a color change.
You don’t have to change colors because that yarn stripes itself.
