Since the ever so popular Granny Squares seem to be popping up a lot lately, I was wanting to work on a blanket, but I decided to not do just regular granny squares. I wanted to something a little different, so I made these adorable Circle Granny Squares!
Aren’t they cute?! I love using bright colors for the centers to really make them pop! I even made some using a different color for each round of the circle.
For those wondering about the yarn and colors that I chose to use, I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn. I used the colors Yellow, Turquoise, Amethyst, Mango and white. I love how well these colors seemed to just flow together.
I will probably go ahead and make more of these circle granny squares and do both solid centered and multi colored ones and attach them to make a baby blanket and maybe put a border around them.
I’m really liking this idea so far! We will see what I can come up with very soon!
