I love using cake yarns to make baby blankets! Baby blankets are something that I always enjoy working on, but especially when I’m using colors like this pretty one is made with. This Free Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern is just 1 of the many that I’ve designed. You can find some of my other blanket patterns HERE.
The yarn that I used is Hobby Lobby’s Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Yarn in the color Saturday Sundae. The colors in this blanket remind me of springtime! The soft yellow, pink, purple, blue and that little bit of green, perfect color combination for a sweet baby girl.
I used the C2C Moss Stitch for this blanket, if you want a more in depth tutorial and a video tutorial for this stitch, you can find that HERE.
And I used the Puff Edge stitch for the border and you can also find a complete tutorial along with a video HERE
Keep scrolling for the complete pattern for this baby blanket!
This border almost makes me think that edges are like frosting that’s been piped on! So neat and perfect!
