My Pig and Chicken Ornaments have been a big hit with y’all and I’m so glad! I honestly didn’t think that everyone would like them so well, but that’s great! 😉 Y’all have really given me some great feedback on them, which I really appreciate!
This is my 3rd ornament, so far, and I plan on making a couple more this Christmas season.

Things you will need:
- I Love This Yarn in Red, Antique White and Greybeard
- Hot Glue Gun
- 4.00 mm Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Stitch Marker
Abbreviation:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together
- t = turn
- Sl st = slip stitch
Gauge:
- 14 st x 16 r = 4” in sc
GO!
Barn (with red)
Row 1: ch 13, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (12)
Row 2-10: ch 1, t, sc in each st across (12)
Row 11: ch 1, t, sc2tog, sc in 8 st, sc2tog (10)
Row 12: ch 1, t, sc in each st across (10)
Row 13: ch 1, t, sc2tog, sc in 6 st, sc2tog (8)
Row 14: ch 1, t, sc in each st across (8)
Row 15: ch 1, t, sc2tog, sc in 4 st, sc2tog (6)
Row 16: ch1, t, sc2tog, sc in 2 st, sc2tog (4)
Row 17: ch 1, t, (sc2tog) 2 times (2)
Cut yarn. Attach yarn on the side of the barn about on row 10, ch 1 and sc evenly down the side, work 2 sc in the bottom corner, sc evenly across bottom, work 2 sc in corner, sc back up side even to other side.
Cut yarn and attach the white.
Sc evenly the rest of the way around the barn, sl st to the 1st sc
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
Window (with greybeard)
Ch 32, cut yarn. Hot glue piece onto barn in a square shape.
Make 2, ch 10 pieces and hot glue them in a X shape inside the square
Hanger:
Ch 30. Cut yarn. Make sure and leave a long tail to attach to barn
