Do you like turtles? Then you will love this free pattern! These small crochet turtles are such a fun and super quick project!
I love using different colors to make these turtles in, you can make any color of turtles that you want. I used Premier Parfait Chunky yarn for this little turtle pattern and it is available in over 60 fun colors! So there are so many fun options to choose from. These are especially cute when made in bright colors!
The parfait chunky yarn is a plush yarn that is very easy to work with and it is also a #6 super bulky weight yarn so project work up pretty fast when using it. I love using a darker color of yarn for the top shell color and then using a lighter tone of the same color for the bottom of the shell and the legs and head of the turtle. I think the turtles come out really cute that way.
You know what is better than just a cute amigurumi pattern? A no sew amigurumi pattern! That’s right, this cute crochet turtle is a no sew pattern! That means that you don’t have to sew on to attach the legs and head, you just crochet them on as you go!
If you are more of a visual learner, then you are in luck! I made a complete video tutorial for this great pattern! Or, if you’d like to see the written instructions for this amigurumi turtle, then continue scrolling for the FREE turtle crochet pattern down below!
