I love baby patterns. This is another simple and easy baby pattern that works up super quick. And, of course, I used my favorite yarn, ‘I Love This Yarn.’

Pair this hat with a pair of my Newborn Baby Booties for a sweet baby shower gift!

I also made another version of this hat into a bear baby hat that is too cute!

Things you will need:

• I Love This Yarn
• 5.00 mm / H Hook
• Yarn Needle

Abbreviation:

• ch = chain
• mc = magic circle ( I have a video tutorial for this stitch here)
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• blsc = back loop single crochet
• t = turn
• Sl st = slip stitch

Gauge:

• 14 st x 10 r = 4” in hdc

Make sure to use the correct hook to obtain the correct gauge to ensure a proper fit.

Sizing chart:

• Preemie – 9’’ circumference, 4’’ tall
• Newborn –11’’ circumference, 5’’ tall
• 0-3 Months –13’’ circumference, 5’’ tall
• 3-6 Months –15’’ circumference, 5’’ tall
• 6-12 Months –17’’ circumference, 6’’ tall
