Time for another Cute, Christmas Ornament! This one is for a Rudolph Ornament. Isn’t it cute?

This is the 2nd ornament pattern that I have released this year so far, and I know that I have at least 1 more coming! Did you see the other one? It’s a Gingerbread!

Do you like to add Homemade Ornaments to your Christmas Tree? I think it’s a neat tradition!

Things you will need:

Finished Measurements –  Rudolph Ornament is approx. 4” wide.

Abbreviation:

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • mc = magic circle / ring
  • t = turn
  • st = stitch (es)
  • Sl st = slip stitch

Go!

Body – with Brown

Rnd 1: 6 sc in mc (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)

Rnd 3: *sc in 1st st, 2 sc in the next* repeat * to * around (18)

Rnd 4: *sc in 2 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat * to * around (24)

Rnd 5: *sc in 3 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat * to * around (30)

Rnd 6: *sc in 4 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat * to * around (36)

Rnd 7: *sc in 5 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat * to* around (42)

Rnd 8: *sc in 6 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat * to * around (48) sl st into 1st st of round. Cut yarn.

Hanger:

Ch 30. Cut yarn. Make sure and leave a long tail to attach.

Antlers: (Make 2) with toasted almond

Row 1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across

Row 2: ch 1, t, sl st in 6 st, ch 4,

t and sc in 2nd st from hook and in next 2 ch st, sl st into next st.

Cut yarn, leaving a long tail to attach to ornament.

Hot glue on the safety eyes and pom pom nose

Attach the hanger and antlers to ornament
