I love quick and simple patterns that I can make with not a lot of constant watching to make sure I don’t mess the pattern up! Plus, I love how quickly this beanie works up with Lion Brand Hometown USA or Wool-Ease yarn. And, using this super bulky yarn, will keep you nice and toasty warm this winter 😉

Things you will need:
- 2 Skeins of Lion Brand Hometown USA (I used the color Carson City Tweed, I got it on clearance)
- N – 13/ 9mm Hook
- Yarn Needle
Notes:
- Beanie will fit average adult head of 21’’- 23’’ circumference if you make sure to obtain correct gauge
- You will end each round with a slip stitch and NEVER turn your work.
Abbreviation:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together
- blsc = back loop single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- mc = magic circle / ring
- Sl st = slip stitch
Gauge: 8 st x 6 r = 4’’ in double crochet
Go!
Round 1: 10 dc in mc, sl st to join (10)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st (20)
Round 3: ch 2, * 2 dc in 1st st, dc in next st* repeat * to * around, sl st (30)
Round 4: ch 2, * 2 dc in 1st st, dc in next 2 st* repeat * to * around, sl st (40)
Round 5 – 12: ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st (40)
Round 13: ch 1, * sc2tog (in the back loops only), blsc in 8 st* repeat * to * around, sl st (36)
Round 14 – 16: ch 1, blsc in each st around, sl st (36)
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
