I love one skein patterns! Especially ones that are cute and quick. This one skein bulky beanie pattern can either be topped with a pom or without.

One Skein Pattern

It only takes 1 skein of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Chunky to make this beanie! So, if you are like me and like to buy random skeins of clearance yarn and just have 1 skein of each color on hand, you can easily make this beanie without having to worry about running out of yarn.

Anytime I want to make a larger pattern and need more than 1 skein of a certain color, I have to go yarn shopping (which, who has a problem with that?! LOL) So, sometimes it’s just nice to be able to grab a random skein and complete a project with just that small amount of yarn.

    1. Because you start round 1 with making FDC (foundation double crochet) so you don’t have to chain stitches. I have a tutorial for FDC just type it in my website and it will come up!
