Christmas cup cozy pattern #3! Cute little Gingerbread Cup cozy. This is another one of the many cup cozies that I will be releasing this Christmas season. View the previous Christmas Cup Cozy that I just released HERE

Cup Cozies make wonderful gifts too! Pair them with a Gift card to someones favorite coffee or tea place and I think that it would make such a thoughtful gift! And, each time they use that cozy, they will probably think of you.

Pattern

Things you will need:

  • I Love This Yarn in Toasted Almond, White and Pink
  • 2 – 5/8” 16mm black buttons
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • I / 5.50 mm Hook
  • Yarn Needle

Notes:

  • Easily adjust to fit any cup cozy by adding of decreasing amount of stitches in foundation row

Abbreviation:

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • fhdc = foundation half double crochet
  • hdc = half double crochet
  • mc = magic circle / ring
  • Sl st = slip stitch

Go!

With toasted almond yarn,

Row 1: 26 fhdc, join with sl st into 1st st

Change to white

Row 2: ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with sl st

Change to toasted almond

Row 3-8: ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with sl st

Change to white

Row 9: ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with sl st

Change to toasted almond

Row 10: ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with sl st

Cheeks:

make 2

With pink, 6 sc in mc, sl st into 1st st. Weave in ends

Mouth:

With white, Ch 8, weave in ends

Assemble the cup cozy by first hot gluing the 2 buttons.

Then, line up the mouth and cheeks and hot glue to the cozy.
